Nintendo 3DS FAQ

Serwis IGN zamieścił ciekawy artykuł w którym stara się odpowiedzieć na najczęściej zadawane pytania dotyczące 3DS.

  • So apparently you have to hold the Nintendo 3DS in a certain way to see the 3D effect. What’s this “sweet spot” like?
  • What about book form? Can you still see the 3D effect in games that turn the system on its side?
  • You said in your hands-on that Mario Kart was running in 3D at 60 frames per second. Since the 3DS renders two screens for the 3D, could developers simply turn off 3D and get 120 frames per second?
  • What about battery life on the 3DS, will I get more playtime if I turn off the 3D effect?
  • What, both screens on the Nintendo DS aren’t 3D? Why is Nintendo so cheap?
  • What about Nintendo’s online plans for the system? The Nintendo DS sucks with its Friends Code and inability to track buddies online.
  • I’m a left-handed gamer, and it upsets me that there’s only one analog stick and it’s on the left side. What happens when there are games that use the stick and the touch screen at the same time? At least with the DS I could use the A, B, X, Y as a lefty D-pad. Why can’t they put a second analog stick in there?
  • The stylus comes out the back instead of the side? Won’t that make the stylus shorter than it is on the Nintendo DS Lite and DSi?
  • Will Nintendo continue to make regular Nintendo DS games along side 3DS games?
  • So we’re getting mixed messages here: is 3DS coming out this year or next?
  • Co prawda nie są to oficjalne informacje jednak w dość rzetelny sposób rozwiewają większość wątpliwości.
